Golden Curse
Unranked — only 9 ratings (needs 400)
Taoist Cui accidentally released the treasure-gathering golden toad in order to read the heavenly book. The golden toad coveted the prosperity of the human world and reincarnated as a human, Dou Zhanlong. In order to avoid the heavenly calamity, the golden toad tore the three souls and seven spirits in Dou Zhanlong's spiritual cavity, creating nine clones, which fell into nine places respectively. The nine Dou Zhanlongs were in different parallel time and space, and each death gave rise to a new clone. They experienced "nine deaths and thirteen disasters" in total. Our story starts with the first Dou Zhanlong. (Source: iQIYI, translated)
